I personally have a glorious history of failure, it is indeed magnanimous. I wouldn’t say, i am proud of it but certainly i don’t regret it. There were times when i questioned it like many, as to why is this happening to me ? Why, dear god? To my amazement, nobody replied.On top of that i have never finished 1st at anything throughout my entire existence, that’s a good trivia eh. Although it’s not failure all the way, there are few achievements and triumphs as well; for instance, i am a Chartered Accountant and have an amazing set of family and friends, fortunately, i have never failed anyone or so i believe (that’s a heavy bag to carry- failing someone).Perhaps you have gone through same or even worse failures in your lifetime. This is an honest attempt to comfort people and myself, tell everyone that yes it is okay to fail, not because others have failed or are failing but because it is necessary, it is necessary to enjoy success, to appreciate and be grateful, to be humble and most importantly when you succeed after failing time and again, the satisfaction is equivalent to a junkie getting a fix (as close as you can get without actually doing it).When you are in the phase of constant failure, you get to a point where you start breeding negativity and then starts the vicious circle of more failure leading to more negativity and vis-a-vis.

Some of us have a bold vision while some of us choose comfort. All in all, everyone has one thing or another in their life to achieve. That goal…We are disappointed if the results of our actions do not match our expectations. That the disappointment becomes a source of misery that germinates fear. That fear anchors us to where we are to avoid the humiliation that we might face for another failure.However, all of us encounter failures at one point in this chase, irrespective of the path we choose. A setback that we think might take us back in the journey.
I’m a failure! As I grow older, this feeling becomes more and more apparent. My first failure came from high school. In elementary and middle school, I was always at the top of my class. Therefore, my school life was fantastic. My teachers liked me, and my classmates respected me.
As a result, my academic performance no longer excelled. Despite my efforts, it seemed like my brain suddenly stopped working. I also started to become depressed and isolated. I wasn’t the good student that teachers liked and classmates admired anymore. At that time, I felt like a failure.I’m also a failure in handling interpersonal relationships. I find myself unable to juggle multiple relationships at once. For example, I can’t have multiple friends simultaneously. Or, I can’t have both a romantic partner and friends at the same time.After starting work, I found myself a failure in the workplace as well. I couldn’t fully immerse myself in my job. I wouldn’t wake up early or stay up late working hard like others. For me, work is just a means to support my life. I don’t want it to consume too much of my time.Moreover, I’m very straightforward. Whether I like something or not, it shows on my face. I never hide my feelings. I can’t pretend to be polite even if I dislike something. My personality type dictates that I’m destined to be a failure in the workplace.
